Village pump pages (and Quick Notes) are a sort of a global to-do list. Use these pages to list suggestions for specific actions to develop the wiki. Add things that you think would be a good idea but which you don't know enough to do / don't want to do right now. See Contribute for a more generic listing of ways in which you can help.
Please put most recent additions at top of each listing. Strike out done items. Remove done items older than a month.

relatively simple, easy, short, tasks
- brief introductory information copied from wikipedia for articles in Category:Introduction needed
- add Template:Introneed to articles needing an introduction
- category portal articles - see which categories need these via list of links / what links here to the Template:Catportneed page
- category pipework (explanation needed)
- internal links to Earth
- links to image categories on portals
[edit] Layering
start a new article from three or more links, or substantial information within a subsection of an existing article
- check place link pages, eg USA links

- Build up project:Design resources, including for example image width guidelines. Use this page to collect together, or signpost to any useful stuff to help with design.
- Continual improvements to Help section (although we may rely to a large extent for a lot of standard info on the central wikia help pages), especially help for those new or relatively new to wikis, e.g. good, clear and comprehensive signposting.

What you'd like to see, though not sure of the best way to get these as yet
- More use for Google maps, examples at Ashton Hayes, Going Carbon Neutral, Zurich, Transition towns South East England. Internal links can be included.
- Separate Features section based on side bar
- rating and reviewing, use Template:Review on articles about specific resources
- voting
- find ways to use wiki to help facilitate LETS or complimentary currencies
