Tip of the day...
Every day many thousands of plastic bags are thrown to the landfills. They are mostly not biodegradable. Besides many of them end into the oceans where whales, turtles and other creatures die asphyxiated after swallowing them. Furthermore, a huge amount of petrol is needed for producing such plastic bags.
However, you can easily avoid using plastic bags. A sensible alternative are the bags made out of textile material (even better if it is out of recycled old clothes).
