From Sustainable Community Action
I mainly contribute on Appropedia, the wiki site for appropriate technology, sustainability and international development. Also on Wikipedia.
Looks like SCA21 is for the campaigning stuff (not to be confused with the Campaigns Wikia?) whereas Appropedia is for the technical stuff.
I'm keen to see collaboration between these wikis as much as possible, and want to make sure we link to each other and transwiki where appropriate.
- Hi, Singkong2005
- We have a link to Appropedia for the technical stuff on our project:WikiNode - SCA21 more about community action and empowerment and widest possible appeal and inclusion whether or not people interested in the technical stuff. This includes, but is not limited to, the campaigning side of things.
- Yes, it would be great if we could collaborate more. We also have a project:Collaborations page if people want to make more specific proposals or requests.
- Don't understand "transwiki" (?), but feel free to make more links or further suggestions as you think appropriate Philralph 15:18, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
- Cool, thanks for the link. Transwiki just means moving material from one wiki to another (e.g. if someone put campaign material on Appropedia, it could perhaps be moved here, if suitable, and replaced with a link).
- Will give this more thought... --Singkong2005 15:32, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
