[edit] ARRIVA Bus Services change of routing from A228???
"having read Keith's comprehensive account of the transport services and having visited the Arriva website, it seems to me that there is a severely reduced bus service from Town Hill to Maidstone via Larkfield.
on the occasions when I travel home by bus I often use (used to use) the Town Hill bus stop by the WM Garage. I know this is the bus stop of choice for Nevill Court residents travelling to Maidstone.
However, they (we) will have to walk back to the High Street stop as most of the buses now go via Swan Street to WM Station then onto the Bypass and back onto the A20.
Have I got this right ? Has anyone told residents (especially Nevill Court) ?
i haven't been able to check if there is a notice at the bus stop as it is now in darkness. "

[edit] Speedy Response From Arriva
"The 151 change has been delayed but will happen from 18th December.
The consequential effect of the changes is to reduce the level of bus service at Town Hill to one Arriva bus an hour on the 70. The 58 (which links Trottiscliffe with Maidstone) continues unchanged through the area and serves Town Hill. Unfortunately the map in the new 70,71,72,74,75,76 timetable leaflet has an error in that it does not show any service remaining at Town Hill.
Regards"
