The Mushrooms Action Research Team is dedicated to realizing the benefits that mushrooms can offer to our campus and community. We will learn about what makes fungi a unique yet integral part of the ecosystem through interesting readings and fieldwork. Our studies will then be incorporated into action by creating a mushroom demonstration garden on campus to fully illustrate the abilities that mushrooms possess to help heal the environment. Whether we are out hunting for mushrooms in the forest or inoculating logs to grow our own gourmet food and medicine, this ART is sure to beshroom your brain matter.
The Mushroom ART invited Paul Stamets to the ESLP lecture series, and gave a stunning presentation about the benefits and possibilities that mushrooms can provide.
