Community Action for Energy - CAfE - is an Energy Saving Trust programme, established in 2002 and managed by Centre for Sustainable Energy (CSE).


The aim of the programme is to promote and facilitate local community-based energy projects.

CAfE's annual conference provides an excellent opportunity to share experiences and learn about latest initiatives. The conference is free to members of the CAfE network, and joining CAfE is itself free.
